Chris Update and my breakfast impulsiveness

Yesterday Chris had his Pre-Op appiontment for his surgery on Monday. He will have both arthoscpic and open knee surgery under anistetic. Surprisingly he will be allowed to come home the same day only with a "responsible adult" I don't know if thats me ;) its a good thing my sister and his mom will be here too just to cover all our bases :) He will be on convelesent leave for at least 30 days but they said this is a very technical surgery and one that takes the longest recovery time. What I'm gonna do with my husband for 30 days I have no idea I guess we will have to see. But that was yesterday and now considered old news. On to today....

As I was hitting my snooze on my phone for about 45min I got it in my head to make pancakes this morning. Not only did I have the thought to make pancakes I wanted to feel like I can acctually cook and add something to my pancakes to make them special, I chose brown sugar and vanilla. So when I finaly rolled myself out of bed because I had to get up anyway to babysit I started making pancakes. I acctually didn't burn a single pancake this time which means I might acctually be able to cook after all. :) I really liked them and Kaylee stuffed her face!! and there are enough left over so Heath can have one when he gets home from Nonni and Poppys house!! :) I hope he likes them too :)

Now the girls are playing with building blocks and throwing them around the room like any good child should :) And I get to spend my morning clenaing house like any goos wife should :)

  1. Nichole you are an entertaining writer, keep it up. This will be a great way to follow what you and your family are doing. Right now Heath is at my house playing on the computer. We were making clay beads that I have to bake and polish up. I am looking forward to see you all on Kaylee's BB! Mom, dad and I are planning on coming up on the train on the 23rd and then ride back with Becky and Stan. If for some reason, mom and dad can't make it and I don't know it till that day then I'll use the my train ticket and come myself. See you soon and tell Chris good luck on his surgery, I'll be thinking of him.
